Random Inspirationals

Feeling drowsy on a non-inspirational Monday? Feel drowsy NO MORE!

For tired writers everywhere--WRITE ON!

Super cute card by a wonderful new (CANADIAN!!) brand I've just found called Dani Press. Lots of wonderful, inspirational cards.
And of course, what about Megan Fox is NOT inspirational?

Fun for the whole family:

Magazine clippings. Well, not really the whole family, but for your girlfriends to whom you send massive amounts of cards every single months, spending heaps in postage, constantly perusing fancy boutiques more for your benefit than for theirs--AHEM AHEM. (lol) Anyways, here are some cute ones courtesy of the February (or was it March?) Glamour.
Let's not lie, we can all relate.
So cute, eh?
From one friend to another...
This man is ADORABLE. I must say.

Happy Birthday!!!!!

About a week ago it was one of my best friend's 20th birthday! To keep things interesting (and extra special--I mean a birthday card should be far more exciting than just any old card!), I made her this card because she was scared of turning the big 2-0 so all these pictures and random magazine clippings are "Twenty Things to Look Forward to in the Next Twenty Years Because You're Turning Twenty". I thought that was cute ... You can see numbers 1-19 in these photos... but I'll leave number 20 up to your imagination. ;)
Another brilliant Edward Monkton card--no matter the occasion, he always comes through. This card was quite giant, but I stuck so much stuff in it I still had to paste in extra bits of paper to act as flip-outs. It was a pretty epic card, if I do say so myself.
1. Keeping it blonde! Always and forever!
2. Having a really cute dog.
3. Finding a wonderful, well-dressed man.
4. Who thinks ...
... and isn't afraid to act on it. (Image from leloveimage.blogspot.com)
5. Owning many, fabulous and expensive bags.
6. Having a gorgeous apartment in one (or five) amazing cities around the world.
7. Living in New York--going to cute bakeries, skating in Central Park, doing things When Harry Met Sally style.
8. Being swept up, off your feet and away by love.
9. Looking fabulous in reading glasses.
10. Eating many, many birthday cupcakes in the future.
11. Changing the world. (You can't see the picture, but it is there!)
12. Wearing glamorous cocktail dresses to high-society functions.
13. Traveling the world, galavanting from one exotic place to the next.
14. Always having fresh flowers to smell.
15. Going on a spiritual pilgrimage on camel to see the Dalai Lama.
16. Buying adorable china to have in the adorable apartment!
17. Going green, saving the trees!
18. Baking (and eating) bushels of delicious Christmas cookies.
19. Always having some wonderful and awesome friends to keep it crazy with.
And this is just a little something I found highly appropriate (after I edited the speech bubble just a tad). Is this not every single girl's birthday wish?

HAPPY TWENTIETH!!! Hope all your big dreams come true, and that the giant hat of cleverness serves you well.

Sealed with love ... :)

Isn't life just ...

Just got this in the mail from one of my best friends. Cute, eh? It's from Tall Cow Hand Printed Greetings, something I haven't heard of, but if you check out their website, it's pretty cute (will definitely be spending some money here later. Just got my paycheck!). I love this one. Their cards are really random, yet wonderful--I really feel like people should start sending cards for absolutely no reason at all. It makes it that much better.
This magazine clipping came tucked inside. Again... why am I in Ohio and not galavanting off to all corners of the world? With or without a sexy lover (although with would definitely be a plus)--traveling is vastly superior to hanging around here. I suppose I'll just have to continue to daydreaming and of course, looking for cards, sealed with love. :)

It's what's on the inside that counts...

...which is not only a great saying for day to day, but also, rather wonderfully, applies to cards. I mean, it's all about the message. Or the hilarious things you get with the message...

So, this came with a Valentine's Day card from a friend. Apparently there were no cut-out letters that spell my name, or her name, so instead I got "To: you, From: Wee Moo." At the very least, it was memorable. And moderately hilarious.
Another time, I got a card with this inside. (Evidently this was just post-Beijing Olympics, and we were all riding the Michael Phelps wave). This came after I had sent my friend a package packed with magazines on which Michael Phelps was features, complete with lovely comments about their future life together. It was entirely creepy and 100% entertaining.
A magazine clipping stuck into a card--now, this is just sweet. There's not much else to it. It kind of makes me want to fly. :)
